Used for installations of urban backbone, backhaul and subscriber access network, the AS cable can be used in spans of 80m, 120m and 200m. For its production, G652D normal dispersion single mode fibers are used and the cable can be dry or totally dry, according to the customer’s needs. Regarding the behavior in front of the flame, it can be normal or flameproof. The AS cable also has water blocking tape and wire, identification tape (optional), tear cord, and aramid wire protection.
