Headquartered in the Wujiang, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, Hengtong Group was created in 1991. It is the second largest cable manufacturer in the world and one of the three largest optical communication companies in the world, holding 25% of the market share fiber optics in China and 15% of the global optical fiber market share. Hengtong has built a complete industrial chain of optical communication, which includes preform optical devices, optical fiber, and optical cables, in addition to the largest single optical fiber factory in the world. Regarding power cables, Hengtong has low, medium, and high voltage solutions, as well as solutions for submarine cables, composite cables, special underwater cables, among others. All of them can be used in several fields, such as new energy and smart home.
